If I shipped it I have a feeling my family would know I bought it and find it suspicious, so I should instead walk there and pick it up. Would there still be possibilities it'll be found suspicious? Like how the only thing I'm buying is a rope and that's it? I want to succeed my hanging but I want absolutely no one to know what I'm doing. Do any of you guys know how I can do it without any of these issues in the way?

Buy something else with the rope.buying the rope alone might be suspicious.

Imagine you bought a shotgun and when it came to getting some ammo you only asked for a single shell 🧐

I bought some 10mm rope (wanted 12mm, but 10mm should work too right?) from the local hardware store, nobody at the store said anything to me.

Good point. There is less suspicion when you buy with something.

Not really, I'd consider it different from the shotgun. Sometimes you're working on something and you're just missing one thing and you gotta run to the hardware store and get it.

A rope is one of the most common items in a home, so there's no need to overthink it. I bought just the rope and nothing else.

If you're a man, they'll probably think you need it for work, tying things up, camping... If you're a woman, they'll probably think you need it for hanging up your clothes or doing some craft work.

The only thing the salesperson may ask you is what type of rope you are looking for and its thickness.

Just buy some rope and hide it. I bought the rope in a big building supermarket, there was a very large selection. But I took a rough rope, it is better to take a smooth one

There's no suspicion. Ropes are used for so many reasons.

I guess it depends on where you are. I can't imagine anyone caring why someone is buying a rope where I am. Unless it's a small mom and pop store. If anyone asks just remember they don't really care they're just trying to be friendly. Say you're fixing something or making a swing.

if you want to buy something with your rope i recommend a kinder bueno or a soda from the fridge near the registers. i don't think anyone will be suspicious but you can also pick up a snack

No need to buy anything else with it you could be buying rope for any number of reasons. No one will be suspicious. Or though I admit I did feel a bit paranoid when I bought mine.
