Honestly, it is not that hard to find pure Sn something in the internet and you should check if it is really necessary to look after "niches". Moreover, for chemical suppliers, Sn is really easy and cheap to produce so the chance getting scammed is accordingly low.

It seems easy to find harder to buy with all the crackdowns on it. But yes since its not all the hard to make I am pretty sure its not a scam.
