Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Quite right, that is my conclusion, and I just thought about sharing it after some time of thinking about it... I definitely won't knock against taking it prior, especially after personally feeling and hearing my heart like that. i do think any claims about it being more peaceful with SN need to be carefully moderated with expectations for what SN actually does.
