i struggle with this too its something that always haunts me i feel so sick about it. youre not alone and youre aware of your condition so dont feel hopeless.

porn alters the brain and healing is not a linear journey. its easy to go to porn because it floods the body with pleassure and good emotions. its a good escape that anyone can access. its easy to reach for when someone feels alone.

for me i reach for it when i dont want to think about how alone i am or when i want to forget about how much i hate myself. its not healthy i know i need to change.

maybe the next time you want to watch porn think about why you want to watch it before doing anything. its not wrong to watch it but if you feel so awful about yourself after watching it then you need to understand your intentions.

i dont know if im being helpful btw hahaha

anyway i hope things get better for you and you find mental peace.

I haven't spoken to many people in your situation, but do you give up masturbation altogether along with porn? If so, that's often setting yourself up to fail.

I wish I knew what to suggest to help you but I myself have never really had an addiction to this, only ever watched it on occasion but it's been a very long time since the last time I watched it. Alcohol and weed are my addictions but I feel no desire to quit them so I don't have to worry about feeling bad for myself if I try to quit and then relapse.

Going 2 months without when you were once severely addicted is still quite an accomplishment, so try not to beat yourself up about it ya know? If you focus on that instead of feeling bad about this one time you went back to it, maybe now you can manage to go 3-4 months without relapsing, and then 6+ months. Eventually your urge to watch will go away in time. Also, if you need a distraction the next time you feel the urge to go back to porn again but don't want to, I'm always here to talk and distract you from it so you can message me any time you want if you think it could help.
