Venting I quit my job.

As title says. I worked there for 10 months. First 6 months was very fine, our small collective kept on hard work. But then everything changed. Our authorities, or management(don't know how to say in in english) didn't pay salary for few cilleagues. This made me wary, but they didn't. Then often paycheck delays has begun. I have health issues, and I need money for medicines, so money they paid me barely suffice my needs. Today new colleague was hired, woman. I didn't like her from the first sight. And I was right. She began to describe how she beats her children. And my co-worker, who I've worked for all those 10 months, began to describe the same. And they laughed at it. For all of those 10 month I thought that she is a good woman, I've never been so wrong. So I told them to go to hell and quit this job.

Thank you. Management is not completely horrible, but co-workers are scums. Not all of them, but those two.

I wonder what's wrong with people these days. In India things are much worse. The CEO of a reputed Indian IT company said that people should follow 70 hours work week. That mf doesn't believe in concept of work life balance.

Hell yeah I'm strictly against child birth now. If i went ahead with marriage in life, I would have tried to convince my partner to not think of child birth

Something I was thinking about recently after I watched a case of severe child abuse. And it made me think about how messed up our society actually is when it comes to procreation. If you have a convicted child abuser, that person will not be allowed to adopt children or be involved in child care services or even in most cases will be prohibited from being within 500m of a playground etc etc? Right? These are sensible laws to protect children. But then, there are no laws/rules against that person producing their own children (at least where I'm from)... so the worst child abuser/paedophile piece of evil shit you can imagine, is completely free to legally produce their own children and have a large family and have those children in their house 24/7 with zero restrictions. Just think about how messed up this is...

And I have no doubt that scenario happens in every country. It won't be in the media until its too late, and the abuse has already taken place. Yet society thinks that creating new life is some magical beautiful thing. In my years on this site, it is truly shocking how many people just in this small community come from abusive families and broken homes. For me, antinatalism is the only real rational and kind choice if you care about protecting children. Because once they are brought here, it is often too late to protect them. They will be in harms way, and it will just be down to luck if they are born into a safe home or some predatory hellhouse... and even if you're not born into an abusive family, you can just have completely useless and incompetent parents... or you can inherit their bad genetics... or as you say you can be just born into poverty where you have very limited options to succeed in life...

The whole game of creating life, is just gambling with the welfare of an innocent person for no good reason at all...

This is actually very sad that such things are happening at large and is a global phenomenon. I volunteered as life skill trainer for a govt school for underprivileged kids. It was heartbreaking to learn what they were going through at their homes. Abuse of all forms.
And they fear to talk about it because of the way society is organised. It's pathetic.
Here on SaSu also, a lot of people come from toxic abusive families and have had a traumatic childhood.
I feel except for scarcely populated countries, all other countries should not be allowed to have children to cut down global population. India and china contribute the most to world population. India hasn't even got sufficient resources and jobs to support the population.

i was in hospital with severe abdominal pain. doctors had no clue what was happening, hadnt eaten or drunk in 3 days. was on iv. supervisor at work told me to have someone bring me my work laptop so i could "know whats happening". im now on a 2 week summer holiday. yesterday my supervisor asked me to prepare a report for a meeting and today she wants me to prepare another report to be sent abroad. fuck this shit, i hate my job.

suspected partially distended stomach, which is basically severely bloated. unknown what caused it, but the pain started 5-6 hours after eating or drinking anything, no matter how light. and when the pain started, it was crazy. i couldnt even take painkillers, id just throw up straight away. no matter how i lay, it wouldnt stop, on my side curled up, stretched out on my front or on my back, hugging a pillow, putting pressure on my abdomen, nothing. pure agony... at the hospital they injected me with 3 different doses of painkillers, dunno what, and it still hurt. they said we cant give you anything else...

it happened about 2 years ago. spent a week in hospital on iv drip, and slowly re-introduced food. at first it felt like bricks in my stomach, but was ok after about 2 months.

For this even the genuine person like ones who are suffering from cancer are refrained from this medicines. And know what? these b*st*rds grows and sell these to other parts of this world for money. 1100 Years slavery is way less to teach these cowards a lesson. 11000 more years would be needed. Independent India? huh my foot. Just the color of the skin changed from white to brown. That is it. These Kaale Angrez are more dangerous than the white British. Everyone is bad and every bit is bad here. Whenever you will see someone hears about anyone doing bad things and getting saved, a smile emerges on their face as if they have achieved something great.
