IMG 0831 Please do not make fun of me, I am extremely sad right now. This was my noose knot named Big Papa, I used him in my full suspension hanging attempt last week.

I wanted him to stay in-tact for me to use again next week. Unfortunately due to certain precarious circumstances I had to hide him as quickly as possible in my closet, and in the process he accidentally became untied.

I could tie him back into a noose, but he would not be the same. I killed him. I developed an immense attachment to him and slept next to him this passed week.

I am extremely devastated. No this is not a joke post.

i get it. when i was practicing partial suspension and going to my suicide location for full suspension with my rope for weeks, i became very attached to it. i'm sorry that it feels like you killed your friend. it started to feel familiar to me after i spent so much time with it. i feel bad that i don't take my rope out anymore after changing my method to sn.

Thank you. This is last thing that will come in touch with my alive body, so he felt like an end-of-life memorial.
But it makes me glad to know I am not the only one who develops attachments to such things. What was the location you became attached to?
RIP Big Papa ):
Thank you for your condolences. I am extremely disheartened, but I have commenced his funeral and am currently honoring his legacy.

a specific walking trail in the woods. i would visit there pretty often. i develop attachments to most things i own, even if they're just small things like a keychain or pen. i always remember the time i spend with the things i've owned, so it makes me sad when i misplace stuff.

I'm not making fun of you but the way you describe it still made me smile. :)

I don't get attached to knots, and I tie and untie them often, sometimes on a daily basis, but I'm somewhat attached to my favourite spot in the woods. When I see litter on the trail near it, I even pick it up sometimes, because "dude, this is my spot. It shall be clean".
