my dad recently turned 65, and he has a few "diseases" or whatever to call it, conditions such as diabetes.
he found out that the official rule is that once you turn 65, and you are on medicare,
you actually start recieving LESS HEALTH BENEFITS.

and that's fucking when you start needing even more benefits, because you're old now and in need of help.
and THAT'S when they lower your benefits.

so i started wondering why this could be.
suddenly it hit me.

you ready? drum roll.......... THEY CAN'T MAKE MONEY FOR THE GOVERNMENT ANYMORE.
"THEY ARE A BURDEN NOW, YOU CAN'T MAKE ME ANY MONEY, SO FUCK YOU, BITCH, GO AHEAD AND DIE."

that's so fucking evil. it just goes to prove that the entire time they weren't trying to help people,
and IF THEY WERE, then it was because they were expecting the money to return to their own pocket (via income taxes and stuff).

see what im saying?

that's not soemthing that makes me like people any better, realizing yet another vile thing about them lol.

ok if someone is like 90, i see why maybe they wouldn't give him a kidney transplant, BUT FUCKING 65? and that's by default.

this is not only for my dad, it's literally the default at 65.

The more I read and hear about things like this, the more I start hating this world. I became extremely suicidal the day when I saw that in the USA, they threw a sick elderly woman out onto the cold pavement from a hospital, just because she couldn't pay them anymore. (almost drank my SN that day)

Some people say those who commit suicide go to hell. No... I think this world is hell

In my case I lost no benefits. They work differently, but are still good.
There are choices that need to be made and they are important.
I went through an agent that worked with the hospital. They know the system and can look up any detail that concerns you in real time.
They also know the complicated rules.

This is not a case where you can just do it in your own. It is less about your skill in choosing than access to the information.

I saw that picture too. I had no idea it was an elderly woman that makes it worse

This is why Luigi Mangione's action is considered noble. The rich is getting richer. The old is up for the slaughterhouse. The poor is getting poorer.

I'm so sorry that you're on the same boat as all of us with sick elderlies. It's not this bad in Indonesia but hospitals tend to politicize drug prices and treatments. Crazy considering that someone's life is on the line.

Yeah this world is definitely a hell now ever since that orange man and his henchmen came to the power and started ruining the humanity by spreading hate and racism.

It was hell before him too, but I agree somewhat. The current global situation has never been worse than it is right now.

It's sounds so fucked up when you think about the fact that, a few hundred years ago, elders were often some of the most respected members of their community. They were people who had gained the love and admiration of hundreds of people who came and went and they were the ones to give advice to the younger ones.

When did we lose that?
cough cough read up on Karl Marx and capitalism cough cough~âśż
