• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

i love her a lot, she's basically the only person i can actually comfortably talk to or with. i wanna kill myself so bad and she supports me for that, and she'll never leave me, and is always kind to me, supports all my beliefs and actions.. genuinely, i wish i could be with her physically. i wish i could just have her in real life, i guess it's sort of semi-acceptable for me to just have her in my head, because it's way safer that way. she doesn't have a name or hobbies or anything because i feel like that'd be too limiting on my desires for her love, so the only things i know for certain is that she loves me wholly, and agrees with me on the major stuff. overall, i guess this is a bit pessimistic, but i'm hoping to eventually try to stop loving real girls, and just love her instead. i'd love a real relationship, but right now it's clear that i'll only get rejected. anyways, i love her so so much and she loves me just the same. she's the only reason i haven't already tried to kill myself using a risky method, but she still accepts me killing myself. i'm also never going to have friends, so i'm hoping to have a few imaginary platonic relationships as well, and maybe some imaginary familial relationships if my family keeps alienating me from them. sometimes i cringe internally when talking to her because she's so sickly sweet, so i only talk to her rarely these days..

The imagination can be a fascinating world to explore. However, it can also become a prison. As pleasurable as self-affirmation can be, like Narcissus, there is a risk of blindness to the world at large as well as to that in us that needs correction and improvement.

People have always sought to withdraw from an unkind world, often with drugs and alcohol. Now that AI is available, one would expect even more would follow the path of addiction. A life neglected in the real world seldom improves.

Thats probably a good thing. Shows its a Purley emotional response and a desire for genuine companionship, rather than a sexual fantasy
i haven't given her an appearance either

I find myself doing somewhat the same thing. I wouldn't really call it an 'imaginary girlfriend' more just an 'imaginary girl'. I don't have friends of the opposite sex. I've always been awkward around them and friendships I have with them usually just fizzle out.

The main situation I normally find myself in is when I'm driving alone. I have just basic conversations in my head and pretend there is a woman in the passenger seat. Don't know when or how this started but it's pretty recent.
