Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I find it so annoying that when I CTB, they will do investigations and search all my data.

I wish that suicide would just be seen as the same as a regular death.

Its also going to be embarrassing because they literally apparently reach out to everyone you know?

I have 0 friends so… that's embarrassing.

How far back do they even check all the data… and why the hell do companies keep data after you deleted your account? Is there just a huge data center of like 20 years worth of deleted data…

I just wanna CTB and have privacy. But seems like everyone has to make it their problem and gossip too.

I hate being a slave to this existence I didn't choose.

It depends on the country. Mine is ages behind in digital criminalistics, so even if your digital footprint can't be erased, it most likely gets ignored.

That's just my case, and if you live in a third world country it might be yours too.
It still doesn't hurt to delete your accounts, so the police call it "too much work" and laze it out.

If it seems like an obvious suicide wont they just stop digging into it? or is that not the case? Thats what I thought they did.

Even in the event a death is conclusively determined to be a suicide, they would still need to rule out if any other parties are implicated and can be held responsible.

The most obvious example of this that comes to mind for me would be the suicide of Amanda Todd. There are so many other cases like this where an investigation is warranted to prevent further abuse, but the reality is they often have no way of determining what meets that criteria without trying to find out, so it ends up being compulsory.

I worry that some cop who's a wannabe detective will try to make my suicide a homicide. It's unlikely but I still worry

I heard salt water messes up all the internals but not 100% sure because I just heard it from someone who said it. Maybe add some soap too…

If you're going to do it the most important thing is hurry up before these Flock cameras make it impossible and you're locked out, stuck in an open air prison and get raped and draped through the behavioral health psych ward money machine.

At least the Grand Canyon is clear for now.

Flock cameras aren't going to stop people from ending their life. China and the UK still have suicides despite cameras around every corner.

I know. It's a for profit company. They don't give a shit about anything other than money, which is the way it's supposed to work. The issue is that raping people's liberty and freedoms by intrusive surveillance will make it more difficult to do so, assuming suicidal people are categorically labeled high risk / suspicious. If you're on this site you're very likely on at least one watchlist, and with the recent evidence of policy officers going down like flies after stalking the life out of of targets, you can bet you're on a FLOCK hot-list labeled "mental health risk" or what not. As the network propagates it will make it virtually impractical to "breathe without [the police] knowing about it" according to one source, and impossible to go to any location to end one's own life without the risk of intervention, failure, and admission to a psychiatric ward [business] facility. Time is of the essence.

Yeah. And if I CTB anywhere somewhat public, the closest loser is gonna post it on some gore site for deranged fuckers and twelve-year-old boys to laugh at until it fades into obscurity.

That part is kind of awesome though. I wouldn't mind ending up on a gore site and I like watching gore of other people
