that's not necessarily true. sometimes two people just don't click and it doesn't mean anything is wrong with you. i can't bring myself to continue talking to people i don't see myself forming a deep bond with so i just end it there. is she still active here?

We clicked so well at the beginning. But then after a few weeks of talking I started to feel uninteresting and turns out my feelings were right. And no, I don't think she still comes here.

It sucks, but sometimes people just don't vibe like that. I've gotten dropped by a lot of people but I eventually found the friends I truly needed (even if my mental illness keeps telling me the opposite). You'll find newer people to talk to. Don't let these experiences deter you from trying.

Yes, it happens to me a lot too. Sometimes people stop talking to you for different reasons, but when you try to get back in touch, it's painful when they ignore you, or who knows what happened.

I was able to reconnect with a friend from six months ago, but not with another one from more recently. It's a shame, but sometimes you just have to accept it and move on.

I hope the pain is temporary and you can focus on other things.

People are bad at staying in touch or even connecting in the first place at this point.
Whether IRL or online I can have a great time with someone, and either I or they will ask to exchange SNS info and then that's it, that's the last time I'll hear from them for some reason.
I just take it as things weren't meant to be and try to move on as quickly as I can.

I understand that feeling, but cannot relate much, since it doesn't happen to me very often and I maintain good relations with my internet friends.

But it happened recently. I met someone, who visited this site a while (this is the main reason why I created an account) and we talked a little outside of forum. But she stopped replying to me as well. The last time she mentioned that I shouldn't write to her so much as she wasn't expecting a full-fledged relationship with me. Not sure if she has ctbed of stopped visiting this site or any social media in general (although she had plans to ctb this month?).

are we allowed to post like memes of children here? it feels inappropriate for a suicide forum. i'm wondering because i wanted to make my profile picture a photo of a girl i relate to from a tv show but i didn't want to get banned or something. i read all the rules but i didn't see anything against it. i'm not really specifically asking you, i hope anyone answers, i just haven't seen someone post a baby on here before lol.
