Birthdays are not important, they do not matter, because after the ctb comes eternity.

I wish you a lot of strength and a speedy recovery so that you can decide on your own again where your path leads you. But take as much time as you need, it doesn't matter compared to eternity

Ya it's so discouraging. Unless they were found by someone or couldn't hold it down and re-dose I'm starting to really question this method.

@Ahcute is the only recent attempt that seems to have worked.... And falloutcarter but we don't know for sure if he tried SN.

Every time someone reports an SN failure, I feel even more confident that I will be successful. We learn more with every failed attempt and the report.

I've learned from it for a long time and I'm convinced that I can improve the statistics again.

nope. I didn't it's like I just drank SN.

Can you give us as much detail as possible when you are able to? Ie) how much did you drink? Did you vomit and re-dose? Etc.

Did you vomit before going unconscious? Was the chunk you took enough to fill up a spoon?

Seems like this was a gesture rather than an attempt. OP was directed to Stan's guide in another thread and has also mentioned the meds listed in the guide, so there was definitely awareness of how to do the method. OP has asked about fasting as well. S/he was not uninformed.

People see a thread like this that says the member failed with SN and they get frightened. I suggest before getting scared to look back at previous posts, and pay attention on this thread to details like just using an unmeasured chunk from the package, was out five hours, then it changed to six hours, just dropping a bomb and not giving direct, reasonable answers to direct, reasonable questions.

I don't mean to encourage stopping having compassion for the OP. Plenty of people make gestures and seek other kinds of attention such as this post. This is about the OP, I only caution that it's not about the method.

Perhaps, it's time to get some better data on SN's effectiveness. Seems to not work for a significant amount of people here. And we can't assume those who attempted with it, necessarily died from it, without independent confirmation.

I agree with most of your comment, but to me it doesn't fit in this context. OP took out an unmeasured chunk. Nothing about measuring water or fasting. I also disagree that it doesn't work for a significant amount of people, it's rare and has almost always been due to error. For the tiny number of folks who did it right and failed, their accounts are as suspect as those who succeeded but can't be confirmed, and who failed but can't be confirmed. There is no way of knowing who is genuine and who is telling the whole truth, that is the risk of this or any forum. I've even pointed out in the past that Nitschke's actions taken as a whole do not engender trust. Posts like this one, however, are flat-out fear mongering imo. I struggle with having compassion for the OP as I can't possibly know their intentions or what they're going through, and also wanting to blast them for dropping a bomb with almost no details and then giving evasive answers to simple direct questions.

Oh yeah, I'm not expecting the most reliable results. I also take OP's post here with a big grain of salt. No pun intended. It's generally policy to not give suicide attempt patients their phone or any of their personal items back while in the initial treatment phase.

There were members who used to find obits and related info to confirm for some users, but I'm not sure that's allowed anymore. I don't get to know anyone here (or anywhere these days). There were members who managed to know all kinds of details. Perhaps, I've just missed those posts. My activity here is sporadic.

It's "Soap-opera Novel"... supposedly some people died of boredom while reading, so it became a popular method to CTB painlessly.
In order to not throw up from all the love/tragedy/drama BS, anti-emetics are used prior to the attempt (when they refer to "meto" or donperidone, which are dopamine-blockers medicines preventing vomiting).
Usually 25 pages of SN should be enough for a normal sized human to end his life, if not found and "saved" by anyone while unconscious.
The SN method is supposedly easily reversible, so the subjects are in the hospital forced to watch or read some Marvel movies or books as an antidote (after which their urine is blue in color).
