Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

What separates those who do it from those who know they need to but find themselves unable?

I wish I knew the answer. Maybe some have less SI than others especially when the pain becomes unbeatable. I read a story today where a man died jumping off a parking garage because his daughter has been missing for 3 weeks.
The thought of never seeing his daughter again was obviously more than he could bare.

He should've waited but after 3 weeks it's pretty obvious they're gone.

There is probably more to the story leaning towards her being dead. Poor guy:(

As someone who just flew half way across the country to CTB by jumping and couldn't - don't be hard on yourself.

It's insanely difficult and it turns out they were right when they said SI with jumping is the worst. The bridge I was at was 600 feet.. a long way down…

I visited the spot almost 10 times in 7 days and couldn't do it for one reason or another.. I hope I don't have to try this method again… looking into alternatives..

I hope you find peace.

Thanks for your reply. I was considering taking benzos which I suppose would work and then also really lean into my dark thoughts. I'm in this weird situation right now though that doesn't allow me to die, but it's a situation I can never get closure from either. It's why I couldn't even get near the bridge. This is maddening.

I'm looking into hanging. I have a good rope but it's a few yrs old. Don't know if that matters. I don't know where to hang from. I imagine si and intense anger at my situation will interfere.
