I don't understand

My suicidal thoughts have almost disappeared ever since I left my parents' house

Maybe because the suicidality has been halted possibly temporarly because my step dad has been a bully to me my entire life he would act like the house is a warzone and I literally starved myself until he left.

Okay, I guess sometimes you need a change of scenery, a change of people, or just solitude to feel good. If you think it's maybe temporary, I don't see it that way. I've always thought it's more important to live according to how you feel, and if you no longer have those desires, it's because something was leading you there. It's important to live according to your feelings and emotions. If you don't have those thoughts, great! Live!

It's probably because your body feels like it can live now :> When under a lot of physical or emotional stress it's super easy to be suicidal.
