I think the main benefit of this site, other than the wealth of information, is that it can make you feel a little less alone. It's not a topic that that most people IRL want to talk about and that's very isolating. But I get what you're saying, the talk here is mostly not about climbing out of this (when that's a possibility, I know that's not always the case). I know I wish I had someone to talk to.
