Didn't do too well at a smash tournament today

As usual, when I lose, I spiral

I feel frustrated and angry at myself when I don't do well

But I also feel I don't have a right to my feelings

Because outside of going to tournaments, I don't practice at home

Hell I even bought a monitor to force myself to practice but it's still boxed up

It's not like I can vent to my gaming friends. One of them even figured it was a bad idea to invest in the monitor and they were right

I hate myself

I'm envious that you went. A reason I don't ever try to compete, even though I like Smash, is just to not get my hopes up. I'm not competitive so I don't think I'd mind getting knocked out early so guess it's only sort of relatable.

Who do you play?

lonely&trapped.

I rather would be just a face in a crowd

I used to play smash competitively too (or I am still trying and miserably failing), I relate.
