Politics feel pointless to me, as I do not believe in any kind of system. I do not believe in either a socialist society nor a capitalist society. It's all suffering, no matter the approach. Addressing these issues won't solve the fundamental problem, because the fundamental problem is existence itself.

I believe that there is only one real solution, which is to go voluntarily extinct. This will ensure that all the issues that are typically discussed (along with all the rest of the problems) are solved. Totally and permanently.

Agreed- although I think you'd have a hard job convincing the pro-lifers...

It maybe that your awareness of societies breaking down, is more accute than those who choose dinialism above the socialist and capitalist idealism. I think both systems dreamt of utopia but both have fallen into dystopian dysfunctional mess. No one knows the way forward but be sure, Humankind is destroying the host that carries us, namely nature. How dare humankind be so blinded and arrogant to the eco system. Now we pay as we are slowly drowning in the cesspit of our own making. The only comfort i have is life is.impermanence and nature will still be here long after humankind has vacated.

Seems like it would be more fruitful to support solutions that have more than a 0% chance of happening, if you care about alleviating suffering.

I think involuntary one is fine too.

Even during the worst planetary extinction, nature didn't have to adapt to such fast changing CO2.

I just think that existence is both unacceptable and unnecessary in general, there should only be permanent nothingness and it's tragic how there isn't just nothing. Voluntary extinction of this species is the rational outcome but sadly humans lack the awareness for it to be realistic, unfortunately humans will just continue to create more harm in this existence where there's so much endless suffering and senseless cruelty.

We are beyond saving, human life is a curse. I do not understand those who still willingly procreate in todays world.

I am a person, I am not special. If I came to this realization, then other people can do it as well. And, if enough people come to this realization, then perhaps practical change would be possible.

Even if it's not realistic for this to happen, supporting other "solutions" would actually be wrong, because I would be misdirecting people from seeing the true cause of suffering.
