i cant wait to die

i feel so close to death. i believe in an afterlife. i believe my life after death will be better than the one i had here. my entire life has been traumatic. i don't have one happy memory. i'm supposed to turn 27 soon... i don't know if i'll make it. nothing means anything to me anymore. i just wish i had something to ease the pain before i die. i've been seeing the grim reaper everywhere i go.

I understand just wishing to be gone, I get that it's so awful and tiring feeling trapped here. But I personally wish and hope that we just cease existing after we are finally free, I see death as being the only relief in this dreadful reality as I believe it to be a permanent escape from all suffering. i can imagine that it's different for everyone. perhaps for some people, ceasing to exist is possible. perhaps for others, there's an alternate reality. i used to find comfort in the idea of there being nothingness after i died, but the closer i got to death... the less i saw that as an option for myself. either way, whether there is an afterlife or there isn't an afterlife, i think it could be a permanent escape from all suffering. i think it just depends. it makes sense to me that different people would go to different places. i respect everyone's beliefs. best wishes to you as well.
