• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I don't respond well to criticism, let alone judgment. I can't stand the fact that others have the right to rule over me, even though they are themselves imperfect beings.

Praise peels off me quickly. It's only a small quick rush. So it's not a great motivator to regulate my behavior either, or maybe I just haven't been told "you are good enough" often enough. It feels like everything I do, there is always something to criticize about it.

I am simply not fit to live then. Period. But if I don't kms and go live in the woods, some so called authority will come look for me and institutionalize me for so e reason.

I used to fantasise about living in the woods as a teenager. It's all futile. You'll have to work enough to make enough money to buy some land and the materials, and then you're gonna have to get some zoning board or council or something-or-other's permission to build a cabin or whatever you wanna live in, and then they can just turn you down and boom, fucked. And even if you get approval, and build a cabin, you still gotta work anyway to not starve.

Or you could just live in a tent in the woods. Which works until some twat teenagers douse it in lighter fluid and set it on fire with you inside.

Yeah, we cannot even be left in peace to live a what would already be a harsh life in the elements. It's like they want us in society, not for our own benefit, but to be slaves or something. Otherwise why else would they try to make suicide or disappearing into the woods so difficult?

"It's like..."
Yes, that's because it is. They only want you alive as a human resource. A corpse cannot make money and a forest hermit and/or hobo is viewed as nothing more than a leech.
