I"m not even kidding.
I almost killed myself back in 2017. I only continued going on because I found faith in God.
Now you will not here any judgements from me.
I'm bisexual, so I would have to begin with myself.
I sin constantly
I struggle with my relationship with God all the time. But it's the only thing keeping me here.
I've been a failure all my life
If God isn't real I truly have no reason to stay
It helps me get through tough times and sometimes it gets too much and I get angry with God.
But I seem to be able to grab on to a small amount of hope each time in the end, to keep going
I know most here are atheist. It seems that way anyway. Been lurking on here for a while.
And I'm not here to preach
But it's litteraly true. It's the only reason I'm here.
Because I'm hoping the world is about to end soon
You know. The end times from the bible
So how crazy I sound on a scale from 1 to 10?
I'm considering getting some SN though. Just in case

In a way many already are. Not just religious people. Maybe not that eminent, but lot of apocalyptic level fear already over climate change, AI, Nuclear war etc

Honestly idk anymore. I refrained from CTB in late 2020 to work hard on myself, successfully turned my professional life around and got my wife and kids a better life only for her to take them and leave earlier this year because this wellbeing comes at the price of new day-to-day dynamics she's not comfortable with. I'm still hanging around because they need me; call it SI or a social mandate but waking up every morning or coming back from business trips to an empty house is messing with the last bit of sanity in me.

I think I regret making this post a bit. I think I went out of my way to not be preachy. Because that is not at all my intent. Just sharing something thats personal to my story.
I think it's kind of disrespectful to come in here and make my thread about your issues with religion
There's countless threads you can do that in already.
I respect your beliefs (or non beliefs, or whatever you call it)
I would never come into a personal thread of yours and derail it
