I think my immune system got lowered because of the stress of going to hospitals for mental health emergencies for a week straight. Then a couple of days later I got sepsis and almost died. Went to the hospital again of course. Turns out I almost died from an ingrown hair.

If I just keep neglecting myself and stressing myself out somehow and I forget about going to hospital at all, then I'll definitely die soon. I don't even have to put effort into a suicide method anymore. I'm just gonna die anyway. Wow. Easy easy peasy peasy. Lemon. Squeeeezy.
I genuinely feel like i'm going insane. Like I've really genuinely lost it. I was telling the mental health nurses "If you let me go there's a possibility I'll kill myself" and then let me go because I didn't say I was going to kill myself for sure. Guess where I am at!!! The UK!!! Worst health care system ever!! What a poor excuse for a first world country.

how does one get sepsis? the idea of dying from disease appeals to me because it's so much more passive than actively trying to kill myself.

Idk I didn't give myself sepsis. My immune system was just lowered so much from the stress of the previous week that I got sepsis from what should have been a minor skin irritation, an ingrown hair. My health has been slowly deteriorating for nearly 2 years now. So it's not a very quick guaranteed suicide method lol.

I'm still 20 and we caught it early so I managed to recover in a day. But I can't believe I almost died from an ingrown hair 😭
