Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I've discussed suicidal ideation with people I know. They'd understand my need for a place like this
People more casual in my life would probably just gossip about it.
Badly. In a nutshell, they'd probably try to get me sectioned or be really upset with me. They wouldn't understand at all most likely. I have few true friends that would be able to deal with it, maybe one that really accepts it pre-SS and she kinda knows where I'm at and is in a stable enough place that I can talk to her.
I have another friend and she desperately doesn't want me to ctb, but still helpful.
My girlfriend asked and i told her, i told her eventually i would explain my complete pro choice ideals with her if she wanted but i know shes worried now.
Honestly my other friends would probably be like finally shes been talking about this for like15years
I've already told my partner that I come here because it would be worse for her to see it on my screen randomly. She seems fine with it. She knows it's better for me to be able to express my thoughts honestly rather than keeping them bottled up so that I don't worry her.
Personally I think my friends and family would be slightly surprised if they knew I was on here. Obviously they would not be ok with it but they wouldn't be terribly surprised due to my history. I'm curious to see what you all think your friends and family would think if they knew you were on here and were able to see your posts and comments.
Depressed for 12 years. No one will be shocked: Not family, not coworkers not old friends. It's as if everyone expects me to die already.
What a miserable existence!
Nobody apart from my family would care or be surprised lol. My family knows how depressed and lonely I am but for some reason they've convinced themselves I'm fine
