how to partial hang with other people

i have no choice but to have someone be near me in another room because i'm too poor to move out. I have my own room but they're 15-20ft away

really want to ctb. just want to do partial hanging

i heard hanging is noisy so if i put a shirt in my mouth would that fix the noise problem? i figured i would move my bed away from the wall so i would only flop on the bed
