Hello.
Does anyone know what to say to a psychiatrist to get the medication required for SN?
In all honesty, I don't have a therapist or anything of these sorts. When I was a teenager, my mother, without a notice nor my consent, canceled all my sessions and stopped getting receipts at the pharmacy for the medication I took before, as she claimed that I don't need it and this doesn't help me. Since then, I haven't really came back.
But if I were to, what should I say? In all honesty, I'm afraid of saying the wrong thing that might cause the authorities to place me on a mandatory psychiatric hold, and I don't really favor the idea of spending another year in a hospital of sorts.
I'm also aware that a portion of the medication, like antiemetics, I'm able to purhase over-the-counter. But for the other part, I don't know what to say, and this medication might be really helpful the moment I decide my time has come.
