Help How to measure SN in mg and how to ingest?

I'd love me some help regarding this. How do I measure SN in mg and should I ingest it directly or mix it with water/any other fluid? Is there a possibility that I might throw up after ingestion? To measure sodium nitrite in mg, you will need a digital scale with 0.01g (10mg) precision, often referred to as a jewellery or milligram scale. This is essential because measuring by volume (e.g. spoons or cups) is highly inaccurate and could result in underdosing (leading to failure and suffering) or overdosing (increasing risk of vomiting and survival with complications).

Here's how to measure:

1. Place a small container or weighing dish on the scale.
2. Tare (zero out) the scale so it reads 0.00g.
3. Slowly add SN powder until the display reads the correct amount.

The standard lethal dose is:

• 100–120 mg of SN per kilogram of body weight

So, for example:

• If you weigh 60 kg, the minimum dose would be 6,000 mg (6g), but people typically round up to 25g regardless of weight for certainty.

Recommended dose for most adults: 25 grams of SN, measured precisely on the scale.

You should not ingest SN directly in powder form as it is corrosive, extremely salty, and likely to cause vomiting if taken dry.

Instead, follow this method:

• Dissolve 25g of SN into 50ml of distilled water
• Stir until fully dissolved — it should become a clear or slightly cloudy solution
• Drink all of it quickly in one go ("chug it") through a straw if possible to reduce contact with taste buds
• Do not split the dose or sip it slowly because doing so increases the risk of vomiting

Vomiting is a known risk. To reduce the risk of vomiting:

• Fast for 12–15 hours beforehand (water only)
• Take a proper antiemetic, ideally metoclopramide (10–20mg), 1 hour before ingestion
• Keep a second dose of SN ready in another glass in case you vomit the first one within 10–20 minutes

Vomiting is not an automatic failure — several case studies and anecdotal reports show people have died even after vomiting. However, it's best to prevent it, as it increases suffering and the chance of survival with complications.
