Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Hello! so i'd like to be able to hear any words of advice from anyone who has experience in this area, i have come to realize that i cannot hold a job if it is not about something that interests me and so i'd like to attempt selling my art. I don't really have any hopes that this will work out but if i do nothing at all then it's the same outcome. Hopefully with no social media bs, just SEO and putting up google ads i guess.

Problem is that i hate businesstalk and i hate finance and maths, i hate legal jargon, i am only interested in creating and mildly in getting to talk to my costumers. is there anything that you find meaning in this area? or anything that helps you make it more tolerable? i understand this is really vague, so just feel free to pour in whatever comes to mind.

Hey, I am in a similar situation. I realized a long while ago that I am unemployable. I am like you, I can only work on things that I care about.

If you'd like to sell your art, I think social media is one of the best ways to promote it. You don't need to do businesstalk finance and math, actually, most people that do those types of things are employees at companies. People who do their own business are usually the ones that hate these types of things, that's why they set out on their own.

For legal and accounting, get a lawyer and an accountant. That's the standard. The accountant is a monthly expense, the lawyer is more of an on-demand service. With that, you don't have to do much math or legal stuff, and you can focus on your business.

Buy on credit and sell on cash. Also be stern in your dealings. Just don't let people swindle you.

Im so sorry to tell you this but starting a business is HARD. Like ive found its just impossible for me. Just one thing alone puts nails in the coffin: paying for ads with Google is super expensive and very few companies can do it profitably since they charge upwards of $2 per click. $10-$20 per click is not unheard of. So if you get one sale per 100 clicks that's $2000 per sale. And that's how competitive business is these days. Unless you're gifted at business and a cut-throat operator, you won't make it. Which is why people with degrees are barely able to get minimum wage jobs
