Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Finding My Peace

I am reading so many conflicting posts that I need some straight forward and direct answers.

what is the best way to break up SN? It is hard and brick like, just the way it is supposed to be. I've read posts that we shouldn't make direct contact with it using our hands. I've also read posts that it shouldn't touch metal due to corrosion. So what exactly am I supposed to do when I open it from the vacuum sealed package? How do I handle it? And how do I break it up?

Once that is done, what should I use to mix the SN? There is a lot of conflicting answers on this too. There is saying no metal spoons, then it's okay to use metal spoon. Then people say no plastic, and some say it's okay. So what is the deal here? A Glass cup and a plastic spoon? Or is glass cup and metal spoon okay?

Please. I need every detail to go well, as I plan to ctb in just a few days.

I'm assuming it's a DMC source, so is it still in the sealed pouch? Mine is, and it also feels like a solid brick. I've heard that once the seal is broken it turns to powder, though.

I personally haven't seen anyone advise against plastic, so that will be my option. In Goodbye Threads where people have uploaded photos, the majority can be seen to have used plastic cups and mixing tools.

I was definitely over thinking it. You can use your hands to break it up. Use plastic spoon to stir it, or even a glass straw. You can use plastic cup to put on a scale and then after use your fingers to put the SN in the cup. Do not worry about breaking it up. It dissolves so quickly once you open the package, and even if the large clumps you can just put it in the water (50-75ML) and it will disintegrate quickly.

This should clear up anything for anyone who was wondering like me. I may be gone soon. Goodbye!

It's actually easily soluble in water. I needed only to stir it for about a minute. But I found the amount of 100ml suitable.
That nitrite behaves like salt. I used a plastic spoon in plastic cup.
