I've been reading a lot here about the night night method and for me it seems to be the best way to ctb.
However, I've been reading a lot of posts of people saying that it's next to impossible to ctb using this method.
Those who attempted, said that either they could not find their sweet spot or the attempt failed because because they did not lose consciousness. Others said that they felt like their head was going to explode because they compressed the wrong arteries.
I've bought the ratchet yesterday from my local DIY store and I had a big smile on my face after I left the store.
The ratchet strap is about 3cm or 1.5 inches in US units.
I was not able to get cornhole bags. however, I was able to find some cheap snowball shaped bags instead. I'm not sure what's the material inside, but it seems to be kinda hard-ish. I know for sure is not soft cotton.
Now my next step is to book a hotel room and try this.
Unfortunately I can't practice this at home because of my wife, so I hid all the stuff I bought somewhere safe.
One thing I'm worried is in case if I fail, my neck will have visible marks of the ratchet and this could raise suspicion.
I'm planning to put a soft cloth around my neck to prevent the ratchet from pinching my skin and hopefully not leave marks on my neck.
I was able to find my carotid arteries by jogging on the spot a bit(this increased my heart rate and it was much easier to find them).
What is your take on the night night method?
Have you tried to ctb with this method, if yes what went wrong?
Is it true that you'll be unconscious in about 20 seconds but you'll be totally dead in 20 minutes with this method?
What other tips would you share to make this method easier?
Any suggestions?
