I fear getting caught before I actually attempt my attempt or in the process of doing so. What exactly can I do to prevent this from happening?

I have tried that, but my family sometimes gets up during the night, and if they hear a fire during my charcoal method attempt, they will call firefighters and it will be over. Btw, sorry if this is a little annoying, I am just incredibly worried about failing and getting caught.

So your house have some sort of built in fire warning sth like that? I don't have one so just my mere thinking, howabout try to disable it, or to trigger it in a way so many times that yr family will think that the thing is broken or sth

No it's not that, I've blocked off all the areas smoke can escape. I worry about my family hearing the crackling of fire, which I fear will wake them up.

Is it plausible if you turn music on like, even when your family is still awake, they might check up on that and you can just say to be suddenly in the mood or sth, then leave the music for the whole night? I don't think the cracking sound of fire is too loud so the music can't be an annoyance for them to sleep right?

You cannot do the CO method in a flat/house if other people are also living there. It's highly dangerous for others who don't wanna die.

If you cannot be alone for several hours during any kind of attempt the risks to be disturbed are always too high.

Hey, would you be willing to potentially video calling me during my attempt? I'd kind of like someone to talk to during it, and I think it might make it easier for me to do. Should mention it's not going to be today, as the window of time has already gone for that, but sometime on either Tuesday, Thursday, or the Weekend.

One, it is dangerous to have an active fire inside a structure. For CO with charcoal, it is recommended to start the coals outside and move them inside only when they are finished actively burning (ie emitting smoke). Two, DO NOT perform this method in a structure with other people. You can block/seal all you want, there is still a chance CO can get out and harm other people.

Also, for practicality, fire/smoke smells are very strong. I can smell a bonfire a block away from my house. If you are attempting to burn charcoal inside a structure where other people live, they are probably going to notice by smell alone.
