I plan on ordering sn from ic in a few weeks. I am a little on the heavy side 240lb/108kilograms. I was wondering how much i should buy. I think 100g should be enough. I've seen the stand guide where it says take 25g if you're heavy but I've also seen people say that on th ppeh it says 35g if you're over 100kilos. Could someone clarify for me as I don't hVe access to the ppeh and don't know how to gain access.

There is a table floating round somewhere with body weight and dosage... Can't seem to find it now but maybe someone can link it if they do.

I think general consensus is 25g as any more might make you more sick and vomit before enought is absorbed. You should always have extra glass ready and drink if you throw up

I'd say do it based on the LD50 of SN (180mg per kg). LD50 is the amount of a material, given all at once, which causes the death of 50% (one half) of a group of test animals.

So 180 x 2 x body weight in kg = SN in mg (so divide by 1000)

In your case, you would take 38 grams for ~100% chance. If you take 35 like the ppeh suggests that's a 92% chance of ctb- still pretty good.
If you take 26 grams like the table suggests, you'd have a 68 % chance of ctb.

TLDR;
That table isn't always good advice

Hope that helps.

So, lets talk the amount of water... it says about 50ml of water to make the mixture... that less ? Does it even Dissolve in that tiny amount of water ???

Can you refer to the source that talks about that? It's quite a big deal if that little extra grams of SN ensures more chances of CTB from 68% to 100% (obv not literally). I myself am about 105kg/232lbs and thought of using 30g of SN. But using the calculation you indicated, from what I understand, it's less likely to succeed than using (180 * 2 * 105) / 1000 = 38g of SN. I'm almost a perfectionist on this because I really wanna make sure than when I attempt that one time, it won't backfire

The idea is that it will be soluble and dissolved when consumed. They say technically you want to use as little water as possible, it should be just enough where it can be consumed like liquid in your mouth, and about 2mL per 1g of SN, so if you use 30g of SN, you should use 60 mL of water. The range they mention for 25g of SN is between 50mL - 100mL, but it won't be overkill if you had just that little more mL, more important to get the right SN amount imo

Thanks. Will become useful for me and a friend of mine this October.
