How many people have you blocked on this site?

Surprisingly or not...none.

I normally don't go around blocking people willy nilly. Only when they give me a good reason to. Like stalking or harassment. Or sending multiple messages even though I'm not interested. Haven't encountered that here yet.

Well, now that I've been here for a bit, I have now ignored a couple people lol~ but still haven't blocked anyone yet. This community is mostly wonderful~

I usually try not to block people online. We need to hear differing opinions and be in situations that we may find challenging.

That being said, I've hit "Ignore" on my fourth person today. Seems this site tends to attract people who are rougher around the edges, which is understandable considering the circumstances.

But I also don't want to be around excessive negativity/jerks. So making use of the button.

No one yet. I am extremely new however, so it's not that surprising.

A couple of people and that's because they were taking potshots at me first even though I did nothing to them.

I blocked two people when I first joined this site because I found them rude and they had this annoying urge to be correct when they were really just fools. I'm lowkey a hypocrite because I'm rude and have an annoying urge to be correct as well, I guess we don't like mirrors of people who remind us of the traits we despise.

Yeah I feel yah. It's mostly how I operate. I've been on other forums/apps where if you even breath wrong people will block you.

I typically just ignore stuff until I see the same person posting a 200 line monologue about how the world is crap multiple times.

I'm here for community and info and interesting conversations, not endless negativity.

I agree with this, I only blocked one person on here and had a good reason, and it's because I use the chat. Some people on there are annoying so I usually just ignore them, but some people on this site can be really rude in private messages and that's where I was done. Maybe I would block more people if the block function actually worked like it does on other sites because there's people who post anime fetish stuff in the chat but I know if I block them they still see my posts so it's pointless.
