how many of you have dreamt about your chosen method?

had my first SN-specific suicide dream last night. details are hazy now, but i remember a feeling of anxiety, like the supplies and measurements needed to be checked multiple times for correctness. then i ingested the stuff and rushed to my chosen 'spot' before i passed out. i think i was successful, though -- i vaguely recall a 'fading away' feeling. that part was nice. :)

who's had similar? i'd imagine dreams about hanging, say, would be quite different.

For me, I have lucid nightmares and dreams quite often. It's... not great.
My chosen method for the longest time was self-immolation, and when I dreamt about it... yikes. Uber painful. I'd wake up still able to feel it.

I've had a couple about hanging, though. It was weirdly... relaxing? Even though I couldn't breath and was panicking a bit, I remember this feeling of relaxation washing over me. Like I didn't have to worry about anything anymore. I also got a kind of "fading away" feeling for a few of them, too.

Not a damn clue what led up to the exact moment I did it, though. Those have been long forgotten. Maybe dousing myself in something or measuring rope was involved, but the painful and scary bits stick around for me.

It's strange that I've never dreamed of my method (hanging), it's the only one I watch videos of and stay informed about.

In my dreams I don't die by suicide but because someone shoots or stabs me and I start to bleed. Then everything goes dark and I wake up..

I've dreamt about drowning, which I was considering as a method, and the dreams felt cold, dark, claustrophobic and like there was an industrial vacuum on inside my chest. not great, partially why I'm not a big a fan of drowning now
I also had a dream in the place I wanted to cbt (countryside secluded solar place) that I frequented at nights and I fell asleep there and dreamt i was still there but unable to move and I saw my corpse crawl out from the hole behind a tree i planned to dig, and it advanced towards me with just sheer terror on its face. Never been back there. I think one of my first posts here was talking about that.
So yeah had dreams but they were not nice at all.

As a child I dreamt, that I hang myself in our garage, it was not a bad feeling.

I dream about different methods of ending my life hanging being the most dreamed about I find the dreams kinda pleasant
