I started a journal last fall that I feel like dictates my final thoughts. It includes things I want to say to friends, family, mental health professionals im seeing, etc. I date each entry. Some are angry and rageful and addressed to certain people. I think maybe I'll add other thoughts closer to end to those people as well that may be more positive but we will see. It's an ongoing process with whatever feels real and genuine to me.
