Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Planning to CTB very soon but I still have these questions and they would really help me in improving my planned actions as my package is 500g. and I'd like to dispose of it but have no idea how much time I'll have to do so.

If the container in which the SN is, is airtight and kept in a dark place, it can last for years. As for the solution water+SN it should last for days, assuming the bottle in which this solution is, is airtightly closed also.

I'm talking about short term complete exposure, nitrite in empty glass or solution in a glass, completely open, 10 minutes? Hours ?

Even in a completely open container it will be quite safe for a few hours. The degradation from nitrite to nitrate is a slow process.
