Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I think it'd really depend on blood pressure, positioning (sitting, standing, moving around), how deep the cuts are, the size of the person, etc. You'd probably need to do a little math and then match it with lethal blood loss percentages.

If you're thinking about CTBing like that, the answer is don't. You aren't likely to succeed, you might screw yourself up though.

That out the way, it *really* varies based on a myriad factors, whether you've hit the artery or not, your height/weight, your blood pressure, gender, etc.
I'd say it's roughly between one minute (if you hit the femoral or the carotid arteries) and 10-15 mins on the greater side.

Of course all of this presumes that you won't get any external help and you won't try to bandage yourself.

If you were writing a realistic scenario, your character wouldn't die from cutting themself

it varies. depending on how deep the cut(s) are, whether it's the radial or ulnar artery, etc. but iirc, it's on the order of 20 minutes. but even if you manage to hit an artery (which is extremely difficult), you aren't guaranteed to die.

Traditional wrist slitting is not deadly. People bleed for a bit and then clot off.

the statistic from lost all hope says that 94% of people who attempt like this fail and survive, you can end up with permanent nerve damage from attempting this, also it was rated pretty high in terms of agony, i dont remember the exact number it gave it, but its not a nice way to go out + its unlikely to work, but i think it would take 20-25 mins, i am pro choice but i genuinely think that nobody should attempt this way, this is probably the #1 non method

Let's say I cut the two arteries at the side of my neck+both wrists+ additional cuts around my thighs.
Would that raise the likelihood that I'll pass out and die from bleeding?

I remember seeing a video on a gore site where a construction worker accidentally broke a huge window while carrying it leading to the shards to cut his wrists. But the guy apparently died? The blood was oozing everywhere and the guy just collapsed.

if you cut a single artery on the side of your neck you're not going to have the time to cut any other arteries because you'll be dead almost immediately. you just wont succeed at that because you have to cut through muscle. unless youve cut deep enough to hit like fascia before, youre just not going to succeed.

Thanks to everyone for the answers. To be clear, I already knew it was unreliable and painful. I wouldn't ever use this particular method. I actually am writing a story. The character in the short story simply has vivid what if scenarios play through her head and this is one of them. She dismisses it because she knows it wouldn't work but I wanted to fact check. Again, thanks for all of your answers it's been very helpful!

I saw a video of a man in an airport in Oregon slitting his neck and arms. I suppose...

ive seen those videos too. i mean its not physically impossible and yes theres people that can do it, but 99% of people are not the people that can do it.
