Yeah, have not set a date either. I also think it can increase my stress level and SI as mentioned by setting a date, or it has for me. I am hoping I can just do it one day soon so I guess I am waiting for it to feel right, although I am becoming less certain that will happen so I may have to force the moment.

I'm planning for my birthday in a few months. I need the time to take care of some things and see if my life improves at all. In past attempts I've found that a lack of a plan actually makes me hesitate, so we'll see how this goes.

Once upon a time it was, "If I'm still in this same situation a year from now I'm going to do it" and that was over a decade ago.

This! Every time I have set a future date, I get such anxiety. Instead, I've decided I'll just do it when I work up the nerve. Or not. It is what it is, I guess.

Nope. I don't have everything I need, and I haven't fully committed. I'm not sure if it would be better to have things fully planned out and set a date and time, or to wait for impulse to set in. But either way, I don't have what I actually need, so it's moot at this point.

I'm gathering things for partial hanging and night-night and planning on attempting on April 3. I have a three day weekend so if I screw up and chicken out I have a few days for any ligature marks to fade. Unfortunately full suspension isn't an option since I'm 6'5" and the tallest thing I can find is a pull-up bar that's seven feet tall.

The problem is that my motivation and brainpower have been in steep decline. I'm not gonna orchestrate CO or inert gas or even buy a gun. It's all riding on hanging, which I would do sober and which hurts.

I'm always waiting for death, that's all this dreadful, cruel and torturous existence is after all, it's just terrible torture and suffering all for the sake of it with no limit as to how much agony one can feel and no matter what I'll just always prefer to not exist than be tortured in this existence that just causes all this cruelty, harm and suffering and there's just so much suffering in this painful, torturous existence, all I want is to be gone.

I just want peace from the suffering, torture and evil of existence, to me existence will just always be the most terrible, harmful mistake and I only suffer as a result of humans making it illegal to cease existing painlessly, denying painless death is the most horrific crime to me.

I don't have a specific date yet, but I plan to do it this year. I'm currently preparing everything (methods, farewell letter ... ) and will set a date once this is completed.
