I've been receiving a lot of comments from coworkers saying, "You look sad."
It bothers me a lot, because I don't trust any of them enough to even begin to describe my mental health struggles. The weight of a million wrong decisions I've made is a burden I carry with me daily, so I can't give any of them a quick and simple explanation like "My dog just died."
Does anyone else struggle blending in because of a look of devastation or hopelessness on your face that other people can detect?
