I don't know that I've ever quite managed that.
Some people seem to succeed in committing themselves to a religious or political faith or belief, however I don't know that it's easy to just choose to do that.

I do empathize and sympathize with other people in real life and on the site. Some of the posts I read just leave me feeling numb. I know a lot of people are struggling with more than I am. I recognize that.So while yes. We are extremely immersed in our own suffering because that's the thing that's most personal to us. That's understandable. But it's not an excuse to be cold and uncaring towards others.I just don't care.
I just let it consume me. What's the point of fighting the doom and gloom when its already strong.
