Discussion How do you plan for others to find your body?

I'll be out in the woods so while unlikely, there is an unfortunate possibility of a random dog walker or hiker finding me. Overall these are the different steps I'll be taking so if one fails I've got a backup. While I'll be dead and won't care about not being found I don't like the idea of being left out in the wilderness for weeks or months.

1. Notice outside of tent, probably on the door warning of [redacted] and asking for emergency services to be called
2. Scheduled e-mail to a suicide hotline with my location and reason for email
3. A note tucked in a window outside my house, if someone comes knocking they'll find it but it's not super obvious just to people walking by
4. Finally, note, my location and anything else important left just inside the door of my flat. Ideally for after someone is alerted of me being missing

I will die in a forest, on an tower.

After I tried it and will be able to call someone, I will call my therapist. I tell him about the letters and where they find me. It takes over 40 minutes to get into this forest and another 15 or so to go on top of the tower.

Before that I will go to his office and I will put my letters in front of his door, so.he can take them and give them to the right persons.

A dead body will be ugly regardless of where or how. I'll leave it up to hotel staff to deal with it, society should have provided me better methods of leaving if even a hotel suicide is too much for them.

Like other users have said, I think I am going to just go out into the woods as far as I can and find a beautiful spot somewhere. I want the last thing I see before I leave to be the only thing I enjoyed while I was here. Pretty sure animals will take care of my body fairly quickly and at least I can be of some use that way. Sky burial style.

I live with my parents and they go into the guest room a lot because they use it as an extra storage room so I know they'll find me. Saying it makes me feel bad though….

I'm thinking on complete disappearance.
They will never find my body.
The plan is to find a deserted place away from city and then return back to leave phone,documents e.t.c,so the cops won't be able to find relatives and relatives won't be able to find me via ''gps'' in SIM or other stuff secret services is using to locate a criminal.

I like the idea of adult diapers; I hadn't thought of that.

I plan on sending some delayed emails to the local police telling them how to find my body and the risks to them because of the method I use. A couple of hours after I've passed, they'll get detailed instructions on where I am, how to get there, and what precautions to take. I don't want anyone I know to have to find my body; that wouldn't be fair to them.

That's exactly my plan. Also don't want to do it anywhere or any time that will create lasting associations for the people around me (a close friend ctb'ed in the neighborhood two Christmases ago, and it's brutal on both fronts.) So 'local' for me means "local to where it happens."

When I am dead, I will no longer be able to experience anything. Nothing matters to me once I am dead as I will not be there to see it. I would ideally like to completely disappear.
