I think of similar method. Loop adhesive medical tapes to my mouth and nose inside sea. Plastic bag is easy to rip, even unconsciously ripped. But adhesive tapes must be removed slowly. My life is so bad I can handle SI, I think.

It could work. You're very brave to attempt that. I'm considering drowning to but I'm not sure I have enough guts to do it. My life is very bad to but I think the SI may be to much for me. Do you have any tips for overcoming SI. I really need to die as soon as possible.

I tried this several times. I used elastic bands and they gave a good seal. I used small bin bags. I never reached unconscious on any of my attempts. I removed the bag. I couldn't find a way of securing my hands lack of materials and physical limitations.

I agree. It sounds easy enough in theory, but when I actually tried to test the logistics of it, I had the same issues you mentioned and wound up seriously discouraged . Which ever you try to do first makes the other one way more difficult. How do you get the bag on and sealed if you're handcuffed? And if you put the bag on first, then you start panicking and losing breath before you even can attempt to try the handcuffs, which like you said is very hard to do anyway.
And I've never understood what kind of bag to use. The kind you mentioned that you get in stores, is that thick enough? If you use a garbage bag, do you use a very large one or a small one?

I've been a long time lurker on this site but recently made an account. This method is on top of my list. I found it on another suicide website a long time ago, before stumbling upon this one. (I must say the other website is not nearly as thorough as this one.)

They have a chapter called "Plastic Bag & Drugs". I'll not explain in detail what the idea is, but you can probably guess it from the title.

Does anyone have any experience with this method? Is it a valid one? Do you know of people who have died using this method?
