• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

i don’t know who i am

i reached out to the NHS for help, but i wasn't quite sure what help i needed. i ended up on a CBT therapy course for low mood and depression, but it just felt like the support wasn't enough as my problems run a lot deeper than just low mood - so i stopped attending my appointments.

i want to try for a diagnosis - my symptoms align a lot with BPD and PTSD. i feel like knowing what's wrong with me will bring me some peace of mind.

i am wondering, for people with more experience with the NHS mental health service:

where do i start?
how difficult of a process is it to be diagnosed with more complex mental health disorders, like the ones i mentioned?
any advice - what to say/ not to say to move through the system easier?

any advice big or small is appreciated, as i'm pretty much completely new to this. thanks :)
