There is a difference between being obese and ugly. I am ugly but not obese. I am slim. I have tried pursuing men who are obese but they have rejected me for being ugly.

Being ugly since childhood is sentenced suicide. Not only because you look like shit but because you get used to being treated like shit ever since your first interactions with the world and because of that develop MARVELOUS intellectual (dys)functions!

You can only improve your appearance to a certain extent, if you're truly ugly then you'll just have to accept it. That's what I did.
