I had an event I was going to go to as an excuse to CBT, but the event was cancelled. I'm wondering if anyone else here has some creative excuses for their family on why they need to go to a hotel?

Does your family have to know at all? You could just say that you want a day to yourself and feel like you're on vacation or something.
I lived with a bunch of people once and someone got fed up with all of us and got a hotel for a night just to have some alone time. None of us thought much of it. It was understandable.Similar threads
