I totally get less suicidal for the first few hours but perhaps, dangerously, more so in the last few.

Not that I need to get drunk EVERY time I have a drink...

I do have the urge to get drunk every single time I have a drink. My suicidal thoughts hit me like a ton of bricks the next day too.

I drink to relieve stress and self criticism inside, although I cannot predict how it effects me. Sometimes I'm quite a happy drunktard, the other times - I think of blowing my head off. So yeah...

I haven't had a drink in almost two years. I actually feel I've been more suicidal since being sober.

I always feel depressed at the end of a drinking session, I can work out my limits so I drink enough to not get peer pressured into drinking more but so I wont feel like sh*t afterwards. Feel free to vent as much as you need. Sending hugs :hug:

I think less-so for me, although after like 8-10 pints I get that 'ahh fack everything' 'oh woe me' feeling lol

I did 14 months abstinent recently and it basically just revealed how suicidally depressed I was. Now it seems I'm really into binge drinking and feeling depressed two days later... (I'm definitely not actually into the latter.)

Significally less suicidal, then after a couple of hours back to baseline.

When I drink i feel as if I am no longer autistic. Then I get the hangover the next day, remember that I still have autism, and feel suicidal again.

I get more suicidal when I get drunk, my thought process just goes out the window, i haven't drunk in the past 4 months, mainly because it would always lead to me self harming when I would get drunk.
