I've got salt and water. Nothing else. Is there a way I can Ingest it gradually over a longer period of time, consume nothing, and die? And, will it be excruciatingly painful? I don't mind pain that much, but id like to expect what is to come.

But..like, a huge bottle of it? If not, is there any other way I can kill myself with it?

You would permanently damage your kidneys if you ingest too much salt and you won't die in the end. It's a horific non-method.

You mentioned in your post that it is a gruesome death that may take a day or two. Can you walk me through that? Is it excruciatingly painful, so much so that I won't be able to look at my phone while dying? Will I actually succeed in my attempt if I do it right? If so, how do I do it?

I've read about this method two years ago and this is NOT something to attempt. Yes, it can be lethal, but the death is extremely painful and prolonged. I can't find the exact file, but I remember highlights (but please don't trust throughly and do broad research). The description covers both salt and salt+water(this acts faster and does more to the body) poisoning.

In short, the first symptoms are like in your classic overdose - vomiting, aches, nausea, dizziness, etc. After some time, electrolytes in your body become dysregulated, muscle spasms/paralysis and breathing problems appear; you won't be able to function nor call for help, yet your body will be still alive. Depending on how much you've taken, death can appear in 2-5days. If not:
1. heart/ kidney failure
2. coma/vegetative state
3. stroke
In the best case scenario, if you take too little, only dizziness and thirst will appear, but you'll still need to go to hospital to resupply the needed electrolytes.

Did you follow the link I posted? It leads to two publications that describe cases from people who died this way. All the knowledge I have comes from those articles. The scientific name for this method is hypernetremia (a high sodium amount in the blood). If you want to know more yiy can always look up that term.

Thank you. How do I ensure that my salt water is lethal? And, is there a way I can prevent vomiting? How much do i ingest gradually over a period of time?
