Help Help with remembering this term's (?) name

It's from psychology. In a nutshell, this... Thing... Is about how our perception [of people] is not 100% true if not outright false. Like, if we were to compare how we see ourselves and how two other people see us we'll get three different images of ourselves with none of them being (fully) correct. Three different people that don't exist, either to us or them, if you will. And the real "us" being somewhere in between those reports, with us not knowing...the "real" us... Yeah...

I remember seeing a repost from Tumblr using this term? theory? Whatever you like to explain the end of Evangelion, I was surprised that someone shared my opinion but didn't save it sadly. All I can find are terms describing biases in groups, when this thing is talking about our minds as a whole

No, sorry. I've stumbled upon this post too while searching, it's an interesting one. The one I saw was (relatively) short and was a response? to another post if I'm not mistaken. It was an illustration of that thing titled like "that's horrible, how do we fix this" or something. And the reply was about EoE... Pretty sure I'll stumble upon it in a couple months lol

I remember it differently huh, this one's more of a meme, maybe there were similar posts or my thoughts got mixed...The infographic...scheme...art thingy is here which is really great. It brought me to this site. "Others in mind" is mentioned there often, I'll probably give it a read if someone had uploaded it.
On the name of this: looking glass-self. Doesn't define the inherit falseness of our images of all specifically though. Still really good, case solved
