Hey I've been growing out my hair for a couple years and haven't really touched it since my heads space wasn't too hot, I was wondering if anyone had some good places to look for how to properly style long curly hair.

It goes to about my shoulders and all I really know about long hair us that I need to wash it lol (it's looks quite bad as you may imagine)

What's your hair type? It's good to know your hair type in order to best understand how to take care of and style it.

It can be a bit tricky and a lot of those with curly hair have a mixture of more than one type (I have around 3 or 4 I think) but it can be useful.

Judging from the photos probably 2c or 3a (leaning towards 2c though)

I feel like it'd kinda does both ngl

Use products especially for curly hair, most brands have a line for curls/ waves

You could also look into products in stores especially for people with afro hair, they have so many products and are often more specialised
