I recently had a few exchanges with D but he seemed shady so I just backed out. All of this is crazy. And now whoever is in the other end of that email is taking advantage of people at their lowest.

I don't think you needed to do that. Though I understand. I don't think Verain was implying you should either. I think they were just saying that the info you outline raised further questions. Not that it implied anything untowards or dangerous in the content itself.

I don't assume D to be me upright citizen 2022 but generally he/they appear to honour their sales etc. Are you certain you had the correct email address? There are so many fakes doing the rounds right now. @wljourney has posted a thread outlining ways to identify some of the more commonly prevalent ones.

Oh well. I didn't think you had hidden intent. I read what you wrote a few times, couldn't figure it out exactly, so I erred on the side of caution. It's easy for me to assume I screwed up, and I don't want to make things even worse for people
