Help getting prescribed depression meds?

Thursday im going to the clinic to get stitches taken out. I dont have a primary care doctor because i moved here a few months ago and im still working on getting health insurance through my work. While im at the clinic getting my stitches taken out i plan on talking with them about maybe being prescribed any kind of depression medications.
Are there any tips or anything that could help me with this?

Hi! I am unsure whether they would prescibe anything during the same appointment, but it is worth it to try to describe your symptoms, such as: low energy, lack of motivation, loss of interest in things you liked before, if there recent changes in your sleep/appetite, for example. This is how I got mine prescibed and it really made a diffrence to be honest.

i doubt ill get anything prescribed right then, i just wanna start myself down the right path towards getting a prescription.
