Help, cutting wrists

Hey, I was wondering if I cut my wrists horizontally how much time do I have?
I've tried drinking to death plus pills but I always puke, no need for hospital even. I've also took pills but only sleep for 24 hours. I don't have access to guns and there's no place in my house for me to hung myself successfuly. My parents are very controllig and if they suspect something they'll ruin it. The only way for me to relieve the pain is by drinking or cutting myself, which sucks because I have to cover my arm with long sleeved shirts and it's summer. I think my parents are dumb.
Anyways I was wondering if there's any doctors out there that could tell me this info.

Please, don't. Cutting works only as self harm method. As a suicide method is not recommended.

Cuttings got a suuuper low success rate (like <4% iirc), as does ODing. There a bunch of super helpful sticky posts, on what to do (and not to do). Can relate to the parents thing tho lol, super hard to get sn or cut or anything like that. I've been on a cutting break since I got back from university, and it has been driving me INSANE lol. Don't do this. You won't die, and all you'll end up doing is destroying your wrist movement and crippling yourself.

Sorry but that's a really bad idea. You could die but probably won't. You WILL sever your tendons and nerves and lose most of the function in your hands. I'm sorry you feel so bad and things appear to have come to this, but this isn't the way.

The amount of pain you'll be in trying to cut your wrists... It's better you look for another method, one that you can do.

Don't cut. It won't work. Even with blood thinners your blood will get thicker as you lose more of it and the bleeding will stop. I'd suggest night-night, tourniquet or ligature methods. Those are minimum pain.

You probably have many years - but they could be many years without the use of that hand. Unless you have a very good understanding of anatomy, cutting your wrists in an attempt to ctb is likely to fail, but it could injure you badly.
