Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Hello, I'll be brief because even I'm tired of being so repetitive. My name is Layannah, I'm 24 years old, and soon I'm going to end my life. I'd like to do it with an exit bag and helium, but the problem is that I don't know if I'll be able to attempt it without ending up a vegetable or dying in agony in my own blood. I don't have much money, so the only helium I can afford is the kind that's 80% helium and 20% oxygen. According to online retailers, pure helium is beyond my means. I've also seen people talking about regulators several times, but is it absolutely necessary to have one? I want to go peacefully, so if it's necessary to have one so that I don't suffer, I'll do what's necessary... Lastly, the bag, can I use any bag?

I'm really lost but very eager to end it all. If a kind soul could explain everything to me in detail, I would be very grateful.

This one won't work. Why? Because Earth atmosphere contains exatly the same amount of oxygen.

So, you'll just waste your money and breathe normally albeit sounding funny.

Depends on gas tank but in general - yes. See, those helium party sets do not require one since pressure in those tanks is far lower than in industrial ones but, as mentioned above, those won't do You any good since manufacturers started to "contaminate" these with oxygen to prevent mishaps during voice change trick.
That leaves you with industrial grade tanks (helium, nitrogen etc) which, due to enormous pressure inside, do require correct regulator to operate in "usable" manner.

Damnit. I spent $200 on buying several of them. I read the book "final exit", which was published years ago. I guess they had not started contaminating them yet. I was going to do it tonight. I have everything ready ๐Ÿ˜ญ
